The α‑Olefin Comprehensive Utilization High‑end New‑material Industrial Park Project in Lianyungang Xuwei New Area officially kicked off construction on June 24, 2024, with a total investment of RMB 26.6 billion. The project site is located in the Petrochemical Industrial Base of Lianyungang Xuwei New Area.
The project will be implemented in two phases. The investment for Phase‑I is approximately RMB 12.15 billion, while Phase‑II focuses on core products such as high‑end polyolefin elastomers. Phase‑I comprises two sets of 100 kt/a α‑Olefin (LAO) units, one 900 kt/a polyethylene unit, one 450 kt/a polyethylene unit, a 120 kt/a butadiene extraction unit, a 260 kt/a aromatics processing combined unit, as well as a supporting 2 Mt/a feedstock processing unit. Meanwhile, supporting utility facilities including warehouses, LNG storage tanks and off‑site pipeline works will be constructed.
The total pile consumption of this project reaches 1,100,000 meters. Pipe pile types supplied by Pinsheng Building Materials include PHC‑400‑95AB, 500‑120AB and YZH‑550B, with pile lengths ranging from 21 meters to 51 meters. The total applied length is 186,464 meters.
